U.S. President-elect Biden accidentally slipped and sprained his ankle while playing with his dog in November last year.
His doctor said Saturday that the president’s injury had healed and would resume his daily exercise plan.
“The president underwent a routine follow-up X-ray today.
Both minor fractures in his right ankle have completely healed,” said O’Connor, the chief White House doctor.
Biden’s fracture was reported to be milder, according to previous medical statements.
Earlier in the day, Biden went to Delaware Orthopedic Hospital for a 10-week examination after his injury.
Biden reportedly fell inadvertently while playing with Major, one of the two domestic shepherd dogs.
After Biden entered the White House, Major became the first search and rescue dog to stay in the White House.
