British Chancellor of the Exchequer: Propose the government to issue a one-time benefit of £500

British Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak proposed a one-time subsidy of £500 to recipients of the country’s main unemployment benefits and wage benefits.

Compared with other parts of Europe, the welfare benefits of British active employees are lower. Last year, in the early days of the coronavirus outbreak, the British government temporarily increased the welfare subsidy to £20 a week due to a large number of job opportunities.
