Armenian Presidential Information Service: The President will not sign the document of the dismissal of the Chief of General Staff.

March 2, the Press Service of the President of Armenia said that the President would not sign the document submitted by the Prime Minister for the dismissal of the Chief of General Staff.

However, according to the Constitution, the decree will automatically enter into force if the president does not return the document or sign it within three days after the Prime Minister submits a document.

On the 27th, the Information Service of the President of Armenia said that Armenian President Sargsyan refused to sign the document on the dismissal of the Chief of General Staff and return it to the Prime Minister.

Subsequently, Prime Minister Pashinyan said that he would submit the document again.
