Arizona and Wisconsin officially certify that Biden wins the election, Trump team says it will further challenge the certification

On November 30th local time, Arizona officially certified Biden to win the presidential election in the state, and Wisconsin also certified Biden’s presidential victory on the same day.

Biden won in Arizona by a narrow margin of more than 10,000 votes, mainly because he received a large number of votes in Maricopa, the largest county in the state, which has been Democratic in the recent elections.

On the same day, the Wisconsin Election Commission finalized the results of the U.S. presidential election in the state, and after completing the recount of Wisconsin’s two most populous counties, it finally certified President-elect Biden’s victory in the state.

An official document signed by Ann Jacobs, chairman of the Wisconsin Elections Commission, said Biden “had the most votes” and had the right to get 10 Wisconsin electoral votes.

Governor Tony Evers then signed the document to formally award the ballot to Biden. Incumbent President Trump’s campaign said it would further challenge the state’s certification results in court.
