According to the information released by the Greek Geodynamics Institute, at 5:57 a.m. local time on January 22, an earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale occurred 48 kilometers northwest of Kasos, Crete, Greece, with a focal depth of 27.2 kilometers.

There is no news of casualties and property damage.
