The head of Albania’s epidemic prevention authority announced on January 6 that the order to ground flights to the United Kingdom was extended until January 18.
According to the introduction, since the current COVID-19 epidemic in Albania shows only a slight sign of improvement, and the harm of the mutant coronavirus strain from the United Kingdom has not yet been shown, the Albanian epidemic prevention authority has decided to continue the series of blockade measures currently implemented.
For example, the curfew imposed between 10 a.m. every night and 6 a.m. the next day will be extended irregularly; the regulation that colleges and universities can only carry out online teaching activities for at least two more weeks.
