According to the BBC, local police received a call at 1:20 p.m. and rushed to the scene to find that some trailers of the truck had smashed into the safety guardrail and hung on the elevated shelf.
Site maps show that some of the wheels of the car are suspended in the air, while the cab is still on the road. Local police said that the driver was not seriously involved, and the accident caused a traffic jam of 6 miles (about 9.7 kilometers). Road England said that “complex restoration and repair work” is under way, and some roads will be closed for some time.
