A loyal reward? Trump awarded the Congressman the President’s Medal of Freedom

According to a report on the 4th local time of Business Insider, U.S. President Trump awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Rep. Devin Nunes, a Republican from California, which is the highest honor awarded by the U.S. government to civilians.

The article points out that Nunes is one of Trump’s most loyal “attack dogs” in Congress and has been helping to publicize and amplify various conspiracy theories from Trump for many years.

Nunes was also one of Trump’s strongest defenders during the U.S. House impeachment inquiry against Trump.

Throughout the investigation, Nunes has been criticized for trying to find the first informant to reveal the inside story of Trump’s related practices, although the identity of this person is protected by federal regulations.

Trump believes that the FBI launched a “Russia” investigation to undermine his presidency and illegally monitor his 2016 campaign.

The White House said in a statement that Nunes “bravely acted to help defeat a conspiracy to overthrow the current President of the United States”.

The statement also said that Nunes helped “exposing the crimes of this century”.

“Congressman Devon Nunes is a public servant with unparalleled talent, unquestionable integrity and firm determination,” the White House said in a statement on Monday. He exposed the biggest scandal in American history.

Congressman Nunes, who has gone on a huge personal risk to track down the Russian scam, never stops defending the truth.

He has the courage to challenge the full power of the media, the FBI, the intelligence community, the Democrats, foreign spies, and the ‘dark forces.”

According to the Wall Street Journal, Trump also plans to award the medal to Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan, a loyal supporter of Trump, often because of echoing Trump’s investigations into “Russia”, the coronavirus epidemic, and alleged censorship of conservatives.
