Britain and Scotland will take the most stringent lockdown measures on 11 regions
17th November Chief Minister of Scotland Sturgeon announced that from 18:00 on the 20th, the strictest level 4 blockade measures will be taken against 11 areas including Glasgow.
Sturgeon said that “time is limited” for the most stringent blockade of these 11 areas, and hopes that they will soon be returned to the third level of pandemic control.
This means that non-essential shops such as restaurants, cafes, pubs, bars, and holiday accommodation will be closed by then, and only takeaway can still be carried out normally.
Indoor sports facilities will be closed, but outdoor stadiums and outdoor non-contact sports can continue. Residents are not allowed to meet with people from other families in private houses.
People from two different families can meet indoors in public places, but the number of people should not exceed 6 if people maintain social distance. In addition, the school remains open
