British Prime Minister Johnson self-isolate due to exposure to patients who test positive for coronavirus
According to a news released by the Prime Minister’s Office on November 15th British Prime Minister Boris Johnson had to self-isolate due to contact with patients who tested positive for coronavirus.
According to reports, Johnson received a notification from the British National Health Service (NHS) testing and tracking system that some of his contacts were infected with coronavirus.
According to a spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office, Johnson will “abide by the epidemic prevention rules and self-isolate at No. 10 Downing Street” and will continue to work.
He added: “The Prime Minister is in good condition and has not shown any symptoms of coronavirus.”
Boris Johnson met with several councillors on Thursday (12th) morning, including Lee Anderson, a councillor for Ashfield in the west of Nottinghamshire, England. Subsequently, Anderson developed symptoms of new coronavirus infection and tested positive.
In April of this year, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson once spent three nights in the intensive care unit because of coronavirus.
