Afghan Army Has Arrested MasterMind Of Kabul University Attack
Kabul University, located in the west of Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, was reportedly attacked on 2 November.
After entering the university campus, the militants took several hostages.
Afghan security forces clashed with armed men. Three gunmen were shot dead.
The attack caused dozens of deaths and injuries.
The First Vice President of Afghanistan, Ammarullah Saleh, recently announced, on social media, the arrest of the “mastermind” of the terrorist attack at Kabul University.
Saleh only revealed the name of the detainee, saying that the attack was orchestrated by Adel the militant.
Adel is from Panjshir state and his family lives on the outskirts of Kabul. Saleh stated that Adel was recruited by the extremist “Haqqani Network”.
The terrorist attack on Kabul University is the second attack on educational institutions in Kabul.
On October 25, a suicide attack occurred in front of a private education center in the Danish region of Kabul, west of Kabul, killing 24 people and wounding 57 others, all of them civilians.
