On Highway 6 near Amberg, a total of 20 cars had nine accidents on a 1-kilometer section, 6 people were slightly injured and the highway was forced to close. About 45 traffic accidents were recorded in the Lower Bavaria region. Railway traffic was also affected by snowfall, and long-distance trains were cancelled or delayed.
The German Railway Company said that railway traffic will basically return to normal on the 24th.
