According to the New York Post on the 23rd, Tesla CEO Elon Musk pointed the finger at the continuous sexual scandals of CNN. He joked that he was “not pervert enough” and could not appear on this troublesome TV program.
In a more than 90-minute podcast program, the world’s richest man made this witticism in an interview with The Babylon Bee, a satirical content website.
Previously, Ethan Nickel, the co-host of the program, admitted that he felt “not qualified to interview” Musk. Kyle Mann, another host, told Musk, “You can go to CNN now. A real news agency.” Musk smiled exaggeratedly. He joked, “Unfortunately… I guess I’m not perverted enough.”
The report pointed out that CNN broke out a series of sex scandals this year, including those involving its star anchors.
Earlier this month, CNN fired its prime-time star anchor Chris Cuomo for being accused of sexual misconduct and lying about trying to protect his brother, then New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
In addition, Don Lemon, also CNN anchor, was accused of sexually assaulting a man in a Hampton bar three years ago. Like Cuomo, Lemon denied these allegations.
Recently, John Griffin, one of the former producers of Cuomo’s program, was also fired because he was accused of luring a 7-year-old girl to his home for “sexual service” training. Griffin has been prosecuted by a federal jury in Vermont for attempting to “induce minors to engage in illegal sexual activities”.
