The Daily Mail reported on December 24 local time, Morris, the fiancee of Assange, founder of WikiLeaks, said that Assange’s team of lawyers had begun to appeal to the Supreme Court to prevent Assange from being extradited to the United States for trial for espionage.

Counsel believes that the U.S. government’s promise that Assange will not encounter extreme conditions in prison is conditional, and the U.S. authorities can change it at their own discretion.

Previously, the British High Court ruled in favor of the U.S. government on December 10.
