The police were investigating whether there was any connection between several incidents. U.S. media pointed out that retail stores in Los Angeles have recently faced a surge in organized banditry.
According to Fox News on December 14, the Los Angeles Police Department told the media that several thefts occurred in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, involving at least 3 suspects, but no one has been arrested. It is reported that the suspect robbed thousands of dollars worth of goods from the store in seconds. The police are investigating whether there is any correlation between these incidents.
U.S. media pointed out that the number of cases of organized thieves robbing retail stores in Los Angeles has increased sharply recently, and some suspects even robbed directly in front of customers violently. Shopping places and cash and jewelry fairs have become targets for robbers. In one of the robbery cases, the suspect knocked a pregnant employee to the ground. In another case, a security guard was sprayed. Last week, the Los Angeles Police Department announced the arrest of 2 adults and 4 minors suspected of being involved in the “flash” robbery.
