Brazil’s Supreme Court Justice Tests Positive for Covid-19
On the evening of the 10th local time in Brazil, Alexandre de Moraes, Justice of the Supreme Court of Brazil, announced that he had tested positive for COVID-19.
According to information released by the Federal Supreme Court, the minister is currently asymptomatic and is under quarantine observation by a local infectious disease expert. The source also stated that Minister Morais will continue to work in his home in Sao Paulo during the isolation period.
Morais was elected as Justice of the Federal Supreme Court in 2017 for a 27-year term.
