18th November 2021 the Syrian-Russian Coordination Committee said that the return of Syrian displaced persons and refugees is a priority for the Syrian government, which has done its best and received the support of the Russian side.
In a statement, the Coordination Committee said that the Syrian government has made many efforts to restore security and stability and reform infrastructure, paving the way for displaced people to return home.
The statement also condemned the Western countries for investing heavily in pro-terrorist projects, which is actually preventing Syrian refugees from returning home. The Committee said that thanks to the tireless efforts of the Syrian government and coordination committee and the international community, more than 230 million Syrian citizens have returned home.
