Nov. 19 – A U.S. survey shows that nearly one fifth of Asian-Americans have experienced racial discrimination in the past year.
According to the Huffington Post, as of September 30, the survey had counted 10370 anti-Asian hate incidents, but in fact it may be more because some parties are reluctant to report them.
Among them, more than 10% of hate incidents occur online, and more than 11% involve violations of civil rights, such as workplace discrimination, housing discrimination, denial of services or prohibition of public transportation.
