The Turkish President spoke by telephone with the Iranian President to discuss the Israeli-Palestinian situation

May 16th 2021, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iranian President Rouhani spoke by telephone to discuss the Israeli-Palestinian situation.

Erdogan told Rouhani that Turkey would continue to take a serious stand against Israeli attacks on The Palestinians, according to a statement from the press service of the Turkish presidential palace.

He said the international community should teach Israel “a strong and deterrent lesson” in the face of Israel’s reckless attacks and that the Islamic world should respond to the Israeli-Palestinian situation with unified rhetoric and actions.
