Ulaanbaatar, May 3 (Reporter Asgang Surya) Mongolia’s northwest Kusugur province on the afternoon of the 3rd 6.3-magnitude earthquake, there are no reports of casualties and property damage.
The Mongolian Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics announced that at 16:46:39 local time on the 3rd, a 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck about 32 kilometers southwest of Khanhe County in Kusugur province in northwest Mongolia, with the epicenter at 51.26 degrees north latitude and 100.44 degrees east longitude.
According to the general emergency department of Mongolia issued the news, the country’s capital Ulaanbaatar and Orkhon, Serang, Burgan and post-Hangzhou Ai provinces have different degrees of earthquake.
Since this year, earthquakes have been more frequent in northern Mongolia. On 12 January, a 6.5-magnitude earthquake struck Khanh District, Kusugur province.
