Police in Hesse found containers containing radioactive material in a garage and sent a large-scale fire brigade operation, the Berliner Zeitung reported.
A police spokesman said on the morning of the 27th that the container had been secured by fire department experts on the evening of the 26th and sealed off in a barrel. Local residents who called the police were co-users of the garage and were unharmed.
