A 13-year-old being shot and killed by police: The teenager raised his hand at the orders of the police and was shot dead

April 15, U.S. media released video footage of a 13-year-old chicago teenager shot and killed by police. In the early hours of 29 March this year, police launched a manhunt for the teenager and one of his accomplices as they investigated a shooting in a block.

The video shows one of the officers shouting for him to stop and raise his hand as he approaches the teenager, who is shot dead by police instantly as he raises his hand. A handgun was later found at the scene of the crime, police said.

At present, the police involved have been transferred from their posts, the relevant investigation is under way.
