Local time on the April 16th, South Korea’s presidential palace released the new South Korean cabinet personnel reform list. Wen nominated Kim Fu-chun, a former minister of administrative security, as South Korea’s new prime minister.
In addition, President Wen also nominated new candidates for five departments, namely, the Ministry of Land and Transportation, the Ministry of Marine Fisheries, the Ministry of Employment and Labour, the Ministry of Science, Technology, Information and Communications, and the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Resources.
South Korean public opinion analysis, Wen’s government has entered the end of the ruling period, the new prime minister and ministers nominated by the majority of the candidates are moderate, foreshadowing the South Korean government’s follow-up and promotion of reforms will be more focused on achieving political stability.
