April 16 2021 In March this year, a Chinese mother and daughter were found stabbed to death in their home with multiple stab wounds in a fatal case in California. On 14 April, local police announced the arrest of a 19-year-old suspect.
After a five-week investigation, San Bernardino County, California, police, in cooperation with the FBI, stopped and arrested the suspect Jacob Wright’s vehicle on the 13th, the newspaper and CBS Los Angeles reported Thursday. Wright is currently in custody without bail on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
In the early hours of March 7, local time, Wright allegedly broke into the house, attacked and stabbed Jia Jia, a 44-year-old Chinese woman, and her 8-year-old daughter in her bedroom, as well as a 38-year-old woman, before fleeing through the back door. Police believe Wright acted alone and have not yet found any connection to the victim and are working to determine his motive.
