April 13th – On theĀ 13th local time, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said on social media that it had jointly issued a statement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to suspend the vaccination of the coronavirus vaccine produced by Johnson & Johnson.
The FDA tweeted that as of April 12, six Johnson & Johnson vaccinated people in the United States had thrombosis symptoms, which “are extremely rare at present”.
The FDA said that the treatment of this thrombus symptom may be different from the common treatment. In addition, the CDC will hold a meeting on the 14th local time to further discuss thrombosis cases of Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
