Asad Omar said that Pakistan is currently experiencing a third epidemic, and the next five to six weeks are “essential” to control the epidemic.
Asad Omar also said that 14,000 people have now been vaccinated through the private sector and 1.1 million people have been vaccinated through government vaccination programs in Pakistan. The main source of vaccines currently available is China, which has provided Pakistan with a large number of vaccines, and it is expected to provide Kangsino coronavirus vaccine after traditional festivals.
