In the early morning of April 8th local time, Israel carried out air strikes on the Syrian capital Damascus. Syrian media reported that a total of four Syrian government soldiers were injured in the air raid.

Syrian state television quoted Syrian military sources as saying that this is the interception of missiles launched by Israel by the Syrian air defense system.
