According to an earlier statement from Cairo Province, 24 people were injured and sent to the hospital after the collapse accident. Of these, 18 have been discharged and 6 are still undergoing treatment, and the condition is stable.
Cairo Governor Khalid said that an engineering committee will be set up to inspect other buildings near the collapsed house to assess the extent of the impact of the collapse on the building.
