February 18th local time, a survey conducted by Imperial College of Technology showed that the virus infection rate in England is declining rapidly.
In the survey, researchers tested more than 85,000 volunteers for the novel coronavirus and found that one in 196 people tested positive, down about two-thirds from the previous survey.
Researchers believe that the current viral infection rate in England, or R value, is between 0.69 and 0.76.
In view of the gradual work of the current epidemic blockade measures, the British government will issue a road map for gradual easing the blockade measures on the 22nd of this month.
