February 10, local time, a new batch of China’s Kerlaiford Covid-19 vaccine raw materials arrived from Beijing to the Sao Paulo International Airport in Brazil.
The Brazilian side will use these raw materials to locally produce the Kellyford Coronavirus vaccine, which will be distributed by the Brazilian health department to the states for public use.
This is the third batch of Kraft Covid-19 vaccine raw materials received by Brazil.
Previously, on December 3, 2020 and February 3, 2021 local time, the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil, had received the first two batches of raw materials.
In Sao Paulo, Brazil’s most populous state, Coronavirus vaccine currently used locally is the Kellyford vaccine developed by China Kexing Zhongwei Biotechnology Company.
In addition to directly importing vaccines from China, the Sao Paulo Butantin Institute also uses raw materials produced in China for filling to promote localized vaccine production.
