Reuters quoted the UAE news agency on January 24 that the UAE government approved the opening of an embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel.
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the 24th that the Israeli Embassy in the United Arab Emirates has been officially opened in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the establishment of the embassy will promote Israel’s comprehensive relations with the United Arab Emirates and expand contacts between the two governments, economic entities, the private sector, academia, the media, etc.
With the mediation of the United States, since August last year, the four Arab countries, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco, have announced the normalization of relations with Israel.
The relevant agreement was opposed by the Palestinian parties.
