Russian Sputnik News Agency reported on January 22 that Russian Presidential Press Secretary Peskov said when talking about US President Biden’s statement on anti-Russian investigations, that investigations had been conducted before and nothing was proven.
Peskov said in response to questions about Biden’s order of intelligence agencies to collect data on suspected poisoning in Navariny, assessment of the interference in the US election, large-scale hacking of different departments, and attacks on US soldiers in Afghanistan.
The order of the President of the United States, if he needs some additional information, it should be provided to him.
Peskov told reporters, “As we all remember, the United States has repeatedly investigated Russian interference and spent a lot of US taxpayers’ funds for this.
As a result, we only heard the official ruling that there was no such interference.”
Peskov also said that as for the issue in Afghanistan, the representative of the US intelligence agency previously said that this was false news, and the intelligence agency had no such information and could not confirm it.
Peskov emphasized, “This is the official statement we heard before.”
