Russian ambassador to Zambia passed away in office

According to the social account of the Russian Embassy in Zambia quoted by the Russian News Agency on the 21st local time, the Russian ambassador to Zambia, Bordelev, died in office.

Born in 1955, Bordlev graduated from the Moscow Institute of International Relations in 1978.

Since October 31, 2019, he has been the ambassador of Russia to Zambia.

Prior to this, he was Counselor of the Russian Embassy in the United Kingdom and the Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to Vienna.

From 2010 to 2012, he was the deputy director of the Information Bureau of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
