Recently, due to the sharp drop in temperature to -2 °C, the Algerian town of Ain Sefra has rarely snowed.
Although the snow is not strong, and there is only a thin layer on the ground, the scene of yellow sand and snow interweaving forms a strong visual impact.
Ain Sefra, known as the “gate of the desert”, is the gateway to the Sahara Desert, where the climate is dry all year round, with an average temperature of 12 °C in January.
