January 20 According to The Hill, US President Trump ordered on the evening of the 19th to declassify a number of documents related to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) investigating the relationship between the Trump campaign and the Russian side.

According to reports, the White House issued a memo saying that Trump requested and reviewed a batch of materials related to the FBI’s “fire-to-hull hurricane” investigation and decided that the materials should be declassified “to the maximum extent”.

The memo said that Trump accepted the proposed material revisions proposed by the FBI and ordered the declassification of “the remaining materials”.

Operation Crossfire Hurricane was an early investigation conducted by the FBI between 2016 and 2017 on the Trump campaign’s relationship with the Russian side.

The report said that this move was one of Trump’s last moves before leaving office, less than 24 hours before Biden was sworn in.

According to the report, Trump has insisted that the FBI’s investigation into his campaign’s relationship with Russia is “political persecution”.
