German Chancellor expressed anger at the violent attack on the U.S. Congress building

According to Deutsche Welle, German Chancellor Merkel said at today’s meeting, “We saw the scene of yesterday’s violent impact on the Reichstag, which made me angry and sad.”

Merkel called Trump supporters who hit Congress “a raider and a mob” and said she was confident that Biden would take office as President of the United States within two weeks.
