Korean Radio International reported on December 30 that the U.S. pharmaceutical company Modrena confirmed on the 29th local time that it had held discussions with the South Korean government on the supply of 40 million doses or more of coronavirus vaccine.
Modrena said in an official press release on the same day that he would support the South Korean government’s goal of providing the coronavirus vaccine to the public as soon as possible.
According to the agreement between the two sides, the supply of vaccines will begin in the second quarter of 2021.
