December 29th, local time, the Cyprus News Agency reported that in order to strictly control the spread of the novel coronavirus virus in the country
the Ministry of Health of Cyprus issued a new decree on the same day, from 29th to January 10, 2021, people are prohibited from visiting each other except for New Year’s Eve (minors and Except for those who need care for health reasons);
all public sector working employees are all working from home, and private enterprises are advised to adopt the same telecommuting model.
As of December 28, local time, a total of 20,408 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Cyprus, 751 new cases and 113 deaths in 24 hours.
At present, a total of 153 people have been hospitalized, 51 of whom are in intensive care.
