Previously, a bomb exploded on Christmas Day in a RV parked in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, injuring three people. Since then, the New York City police have been on high alert. The explosion occurred near an AT&T building.
In a statement issued a few hours later, the NYPD said that counterterrorism officers were deployed to 16 “critical infrastructure departments” in New York.
