Yars missile is the latest land-based intercontinental ballistic missile developed by the Moscow Institute of Thermal Engineering, with a maximum range of 11,000 kilometers.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has previously said that the modernization plan of Russian strategic rocket army weapons and equipment will be completed in 2024.
At that time, the Russian Strategic Rocket Army will replace all intercontinental ballistic missiles currently in service during the Soviet Union.
