The ship has a maximum submarine speed of 20 knots, a navigation speed of 37 kilometers per hour, and can carry up to 50 crew members. It will play a central role in enhancing maritime combat effectiveness. According to the report, the “Anwu” boat will be delivered to the South Korean Navy in 2022 after evaluation, and will be officially put into service after actual combat drills.
