December 28th, local time, according to the Newark City Police Department, New Jersey, two women were arrested last weekend for opening a “temporary bar” and inviting more than 200 people to meet during the epidemic.
The state’s public safety department said that the local police received a report in the early morning of Sunday (27th) that hundreds of customers were partying in a warehouse and gambling illegally after arriving at the scene.
After investigation, the police arrested two women who hosted the party, Dennis Tinizare, 26, and Catherine Tinizare, 28, for illegal trafficking in alcohol without a license.
According to the state’s public safety department, in addition to selling alcohol without a license, the two also violated the state’s coronavirus prevention and control regulations.
The New Jersey government said on its official website that no more than 10 people will be allowed at New Jersey indoor gatherings starting November 17; and no more than 25 people will be allowed at New Jersey outdoor gatherings starting December 7.
