Zimbabwe’s President held a ceremony to receive a coronavirus vaccine from China.

Zimbabwean President Mnangaguwa held a ceremony in the presidential palace on the afternoon of the 15th to sign a handover certificate on behalf of the Zimbabwean government and officially received the coronavirus vaccine assisted by the Chinese government.

Before signing the handover certificate, Mnangarguwa said in his speech that China’s inclusion of Zimbabwe as the first batch of vaccine donors reflects that the two countries are good friends and partners.

On behalf of Zimbabwe, he expressed his sincere gratitude for the vaccine assistance from China.
