Wu Wenteng, the central executive committee of the National League for Democracy of Myanmar, was detained by the military.

In the early morning of February 5 local time, U Win Htein, the Central Executive Committee and spokesman of the National League for Democracy of Myanmar, was detained by the military.

The military did not disclose the reason for the detention.

Wu Wenteng, 76, is the actual operator of the NLD social media account “Chairman of NLD”.
