According to the Western Australian Fire Emergency Service (DFES) local time on the 4th, wildfires are raging in the suburbs of the city of Kwinana, south of the capital of Western Australia, and the department has issued an emergency fire warning.
The fire began at noon local time on the 2nd. At present, the overfire area of the wildfire has exceeded 230 hectares, but the cause is unknown.
Residents in the area received safety tips from the fire department and asked to stay at home and avoid danger.
Many roads near the area have been forced to close.
At present, about 150 firefighters at the scene of the fire are dealing with the fire and dispatching helicopters to put out the fire in the air.
