Wildfire continues in Colorado, U.S., killing an elderly couple

Currently, the wildfires in Colorado, USA are still continues.

On the 24th, police in Grand County, Colorado, claimed that an elderly couple in the local community died at home because they did not want to evacuate. 

According to a statement issued by the police, even though wildfires continued to approach the couple’s community, they still refused everyone’s help and did not want to leave. It is understood that the couple died on the evening of the 21st, and their bodies have been found by the local police.

It is understood that the couple died in Colorado’s second largest wildfire.

Only about 5% of the wildfire is currently under control, and the fire is still spreading. Local firefighting officials worry that the second largest wildfire may merge with the first one, thereby posing a greater threat.
