WHO: Nearly 1 billion doses of vaccine have been obtained in the implementation plan of COVID-19 vaccine

December 11th, local time, WHO held a regular press conference on COVID-19. WHO Director-General Tedros said that the “COVID-19 Vaccine Implementation Plan” had obtained nearly 1 billion doses of vaccine, including three COVID-19 vaccines.

At present, 189 countries and economies have joined the COVID-19 Vaccine Implementation Plan, and WHO is working with the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization and UNICEF to evaluate the first vaccine applications submitted by participating countries.
