January 27th, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) released the largest poll on “climate change” in history.
The survey found that two-thirds of people believe that climate change is a “global emergency” and young people show the greatest concern.
According to the British Guardian on the 27th, the survey covered 1.2 million respondents in 50 countries around the world, half of whom were young people.
People all hope to take immediate action on climate change.
Flynn, UNDP climate change strategy consultant, said: “After witnessing wildfires in California and Australia in the United States, Category 5 storms in the Caribbean, and floods in Southeast Asia, everyone believes that climate change is imminent.”
