WHO Director-General Tedros said that research showed that people sleeping on the street and in reception centers are less likely to seek care when they have symptoms of COVID-19.
Of those who did not seek medical care, 35% said that it was due to financial constraints, and another 22% feared deportation.
More than half of the respondents said that COVID-19 has made it depressed, worried, anxious and lonely.
Tedros called on countries to include refugees and migrants in response plans and public health measures.
