Japanese Olympic Minister Seiko Hashimoto, Japanese Olympic Committee President Yasuhiro Yamashita and Japanese hammerball celebrity Fukuhiroji are all on the candidate list.
As one of the only two women in the Japanese cabinet, Seiko Hashimoto said on the 16th that she had not yet contacted her to take over.
